Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2, 2026
Agreement
By using Lanlan ("Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. "We", "us", and "our" refer to Lanlan. "You" and "your" refer to you, the user.
The service
Lanlan is an AI-native website builder. You create and manage websites through conversation with AI assistants (via MCP) or through our dashboard at app.lanlan.site. We host your sites on Cloudflare Pages at yoursite.lanlan.site or on a custom domain you connect or purchase.
Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- One person or entity per account. Accounts cannot be shared.
Your content
You own your content. Lanlan does not claim any ownership over the websites, files, text, images, or other content you create or upload. You grant us a license to host, serve, and display your content solely to provide the Service.
Acceptable use
These acceptable-use rules apply to everything you create, host, or distribute through Lanlan, no matter which AI assistant you use to build it. Lanlan works with a range of AI assistants, and uses Anthropic's Claude to power some of its features; our rules follow the same standards as Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP"). When you build with Claude — or connect Lanlan through an Anthropic-powered client — Anthropic's AUP also applies to that use, and where it is stricter, it controls.
You agree not to use Lanlan to create, host, or distribute content that:
- Endangers children — child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualization of minors, or anything that exploits or endangers people under 18, whether real or AI-generated.
- Enables fraud or deception — phishing, credential harvesting, scams, fake storefronts, pyramid or multi-level-marketing schemes, predatory lending, or other deceptive or fraudulent commerce.
- Distributes malware or attacks systems — malware, ransomware, exploit kits, or tooling to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
- Impersonates or misleads — impersonates a person, brand, or organization, or presents AI-generated output as human-authored in a way that deceives. You may not remove or obscure the AI-generation disclosure Lanlan adds to your sites.
- Promotes violence, harm, or hate — incites violence or terrorism, harasses or threatens, or attacks people on the basis of protected characteristics.
- Facilitates weapons or illicit goods — instructions for weapons (including biological, chemical, nuclear, or radiological), or the sale of illegal drugs, weapons, or other regulated or illicit goods.
- Is sexually explicit — pornography or sexually explicit material, or services that facilitate it.
- Spreads harmful misinformation — including false or misleading medical, health, or safety claims, or coordinated political deception and election interference.
- Enables unlawful surveillance — stalkerware, mass surveillance, or tracking people without their consent.
- Violates others' rights or the law — infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights, or is otherwise illegal.
- Is or distributes spam — bulk unsolicited email, messaging, or comment/link spam, or pages built to host or facilitate it.
- Abuses the platform — circumventing rate limits, abusing the API, interfering with the Service, or reselling access without our permission.
High-risk uses. If your site offers legal, medical, financial, insurance, employment, housing, or similar advice — or is otherwise consumer-facing in a high-risk domain — you are responsible for the human and professional review those uses require, and for clearly disclosing that AI was involved. Lanlan sites are generated with AI; you must not present a site as reviewed or endorsed by a licensed professional unless that is true.
You must be 18 or older to use Lanlan, and you may not build products or services directed at children under 18 without meeting the additional requirements in the AUP.
We may suspend, take down, or terminate sites or accounts that violate these terms or the AUP. To report a violation that doesn't involve copyright (phishing, malware, impersonation, harassment, etc.) email abuse@lanlan.site or use our abuse-report form.
Copyright complaints (DMCA)
Lanlan responds to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. §512. To submit a notice, email our designated agent at dmca@lanlan.site with the elements required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works, a representative list).
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information sufficient for us to locate it (URLs work best).
- Your contact information (mailing address, phone number, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Misrepresentations in a DMCA notice may result in liability under 17 U.S.C. §512(f). Please ensure your notice is accurate before submitting.
Counter-notification
If you believe content you posted was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to dmca@lanlan.site with:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location it appeared at before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your judicial district (or the Northern District of California if you are outside the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the original notifier or their agent.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the removed material in 10 to 14 business days unless the complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking a restraining order against you.
Repeat infringers
We terminate accounts of users we determine, in our reasonable discretion, to be repeat infringers.

Domain registration
If you purchase a domain through Lanlan:
- Domains are registered via Cloudflare Registrar, an ICANN-accredited registrar. Cloudflare is the sponsoring registrar for all domains purchased through Lanlan.
- Pricing: Domain prices are displayed before purchase. Prices include a service fee and vary by TLD. Premium domains have higher registration and renewal costs — these are clearly marked.
- Registration: WHOIS privacy is included free on all domains.
- Renewal: Domains auto-renew by default. We send expiration reminders at 30 days, 7 days, and 1 day before expiry. If a domain is not renewed, it may become unavailable.
- Domain purchases are non-refundable once the domain is registered, as registration fees are paid to the registry and cannot be reversed.
- Domain registrations are subject to ICANN Registrant Rights & Responsibilities and Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- If you cancel your Lanlan account, purchased domains remain registered until expiry. Contact support@lanlan.site to transfer a domain to another registrar.
Uptime and availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service is provided on Cloudflare's infrastructure. We are not liable for downtime caused by Cloudflare, DNS propagation, or other factors outside our control.
Intellectual property
The Lanlan name, logo, and software are our intellectual property. You may not use our branding without permission. The Service itself (code, design, tools) is owned by Lanlan.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lanlan is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Lanlan harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these terms.
Termination
- By you: Delete your account or email support@lanlan.site. We will delete your data within 30 days.
- By us: We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, with or without notice.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
